1893-1977 AKA Ralph Myron Brown |
|
via email from Lisa Foote, 5-15-04 Briefly, he learned to fly in Bath, NY. He had quit flying by WWI, worked for Thomas Brothers in Ithaca making airplanes for WWI, worked a brief stint at Old Town Canoe in Maine, and finally became president of Penn Yan Boats in Penn Yan, NY, where he lived until his death. He was a fascinating self-made man. Lisa Foote |
